Baby!!!

So, today at 7:37am I became a god-mother to the most beautiful baby ever born. Okay, I know that I am bias, but she is really cute! I have to say though that through the last 9 months, even though I haven't been pregnant, this child has rocked my world. It has been a huge step of maturity for me and a lot of firsts, but they all ended up to be blessings because of what happened today. God never promises any of us a bed of roses, but he does promise blossoms on the way through the thorns and this baby is one of those blossoms. There is still a lot to work through, but this baby is truly amazing. First, any baby is amazing. The way our bodies work and can produce children that are made of us is truly amazing. I have learned a lot of lessons through the last 9 months, and I am sure that Catherine will have many more lessons to teach me, but I think the most important one God has showed me through it all has been how to love. We all know how to love, but once you have a child or love a child, like, truly love them, you understand love in a completely knew way, at least I did. I learned what it truly was to love someone, and got a glimpse of what unconditional love is. And, this isn't even my child, I can't imagine what it will be like when I have my own children, God willing. Well, pictures will be posted soon. I forgot my camera at the hospital.
