It's been a while since I wrote last, and so much has happened within that time. I now have my first year of college almost completed, that seems so weird. I remember coming to Chicago and wanting to go back home, and now all I want is to stay. There are some things that I have learned this year at school, or relearned that have changed me. First, home is home. No matter how twisted the situation may be there, home is always home. There is some sort of peace at home that you can't find anywhere else. Friends come and go, but the ones you really need will always be there, no matter where life takes you and what you decide to do. People really do care. Life is unexpected. Shit happens, and sometimes there aren't things that you can do to prevent it, but when there is I will always beat myself up about it. Unexpected things can be good, and bad. Life is overwhelming at times, sometimes it seems unbearable, but there is always something or someone that will sustain you. Do what you need to do, not what people want you to do. Please yourself, but don't be ridiculous in the process. Love with everything you have even if the vulnerability leaves you scared shitless. Children are a blessing. Money is money and you need to be wise, but not stress. College goes fast. Life moves fast, and there is no stopping it. Harry Potter is maybe the greatest thing that has ever happened to me =). Just kidding, thats a stretch. Tears happen. Well, the brains drifted.
